Dancing Your Depths – A moving August afternoon

Dancing Your Depths is an imaginative relational movement practice, where each class is a thoughtfully guided journey of music, imagery, somatic exploration, and movement conversations. From the playful to the profound, this is an experimental space to explore the full spectrum of your movement—the wild, the weird, the expansive, and the subtle. Connect with yourself, with others, and with the embodied intelligence that emerges when we share a dance floor with creativity and curiosity. There’s time to both dive deep into your own inner landscape and immerse in the quiet choreography unfolding between us—moving alongside one another, witnessing, responding, and discovering how our individual dances can become part of something larger. There are no steps or counts to learn, but the practice is scaffolded by a loose framework that serves as a container for our explorations. (This event is promoted in multiple ways, so attendance on Meetup does not reflect actual participation.) Location: Root Center for Yoga & Sacred Studies 617 N. 17th Street, Suite 200, Colorado Springs (upper level) Cost: Sliding scale of $15–$22 per person ($10 if it's your first time).
