Beginning Argentine tango with Felipe and Ayano

Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda are back to teach tango in Berkeley! This is a series of four classes geared towards total beginners and almost-beginners. Tango is an improvisational dance based on connection and communication. Felipe and Ayano teach the fundamental structures that give rise to grace, fluidity, and creativity in social dancing. These classes are taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers," and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. Wednesdays: August 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th 6:45 pm: check-in 7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango 8:00-8:30 pm practica The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions! $80 general admission (all four classes) $25 general admission (single class) $15 student with ID (single class) We accept cash and venmo at the door.
