Amble & Ramble at Peninsula Park

Ah, to be amongst the flowering linden trees and the roses of Peninsula Park, one of the treasures of Portland. This is our first event in North Portland! I don't know about you, but I get restless and overstimulated in bars and indoor event venues. I'd rather be in nature! Take your conversation for a walk outdoors. Amble & Ramble builds authentic connection by pairing strangers for a light, playful walking conversation around the park. We’ll begin with an introduction followed by forming conversation pairs. You will receive an optional discussion prompt that invites authenticity. Then we stroll for 10 to 15 minutes through the park, make our return, and begin the process again. We’ll do about four to five circuits. If our crowd is larger, we will break into smaller conversation circles so you have opportunities to meet more new companions. This event is intended to be pleasant, light, engaging, easeful, and meaningful. We all endure some loneliness in this culture and it’s important to me to alleviate that for an afternoon when I can!
